A Head Housekeeper is required for a family in Marlborough, Wiltshire (SN8) with 3 teenage children & 4 dogs

The family are looking for an experienced housekeeper who is passionate about cooking & able to assist with planning & producing meals for the family & for small dinner parties

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 gross per annum

Hours: 5 days per week covering alternating weekends: 8:00/9:00 am – 6:00 pm (a degree of flexibility will be required). When working at weekend, there will be 2 days off during the week

Accommodation (if live in): Unfurnished semi-detached 3 bed cottage overlooking farmland with utility, WC, sitting room, kitchen/diner, bathroom. Council tax & water bills paid. Bio mass heating (supplied at reduced rate). Electricity & wifi not paid. Own garden & parking. Pets OK. Alternatively, accommodation may be a self-contained basement in the main house with separate entrance.

Duties:

· Housekeeping

· Cleaning & tidying

· Deep cleaning

· Washing & ironing

· Food preparation & family cooking

· Helping with entertaining

· Online shopping

· Running errands

· Cleaning internal windows

· Babysitting

· Dog care – dog walking, feeding & dog sitting

· Managing the house & staff

· Managing staff rotas

You must:

• Have previous experience as a Housekeeper with checkable references to support your application
• Have an Enhanced DBS certificate or be happy to have one done
• Be a driver with own car
• Be able to cook & plan/follow recipes
• Be hardworking & flexible
• Must like dogs
• Be ok with the estate shoots
• Be able to manage staff & work as a part of a team
